My filming style is based in documentary storytelling, but with a romantic cinematic feel. What this means in practice is, on your wedding day, we prioritize staying out of your way and letting the day unfold uninterrupted and un-"directed". We will not curate posed moments just "for the photo". We are much more concerned with making sure you EXPERIENCE your day and not just pose for a series of photos. We will not stop the flow of the day to rearrange the room into a movie set just so there isn't shred of personal items hanging around in the background. At the same time, there are parts of your day that naturally lend themselves more to "posed" moments (like the portrait session typically held after the ceremony). Here we might queue you to do some fun activities with your bridal party or as a couple, and get really crisp, clean, "photography" type shots of just how stunning you look. But for the most part, throughout the day, we are mostly flies on the wall, capturing your interactions with your family, friends, and loving partner. We may have you turn here or there to "face the light" or step out of the sun, because our job is to make you look and feel like a rock star, but in general, our philosophy is to interfere with the days events as little as possible, while still getting the most stunning "cinematic" like shots for your photos and video :)

As an Orlando-based company, we are positioned nicely to easily travel throughout Central Florida. We love taking weddings from coast to coast, so travel within "2 hours" of Orlando is included in all our packages*. This includes: Sarasota, St. Pete, Clearwater, Tampa, Lakeland, The Space Coast (to Vero Beach), St. Augustine, Ocala, Gainesville, and anywhere within that "2-hour" radius. *Except elopements, which include a 1-hour radius of travel from Orlando Beyond that, we calculate a reasonable fee for our gas and travel time depending on how far we need to go. Beyond a 4-hour drive from Orlando, overnight accommodation is requested.

Yes, a non-refundable retainer fee of just $250 for any individual Photo or Video service is requested at the time of the contract. A retainer fee of $500 is requested for the Photo + Video Combined Package. This secures your date on our calendar and is subtracted from your package total.

Oh YES! We bring all kinds of audio recording equipment to ensure high-definition audio accompanies your beautiful wedding videos. For your ceremony, we will plug into your DJ/Emcee's sound board and record everything coming out the speakers. We also use pocket lavalier/lapel microphones on at least one partner and the officiant. These record internally and are always close enough to the speakers to catch everything. We also bring small pocket microphones for personal letter readings and first look reactions :)

Jessica at Tread Brightly Media is your personal videographer and lead editor. We edit all wedding films in house. We never outsource your footage to 3rd party editing companies.

We always aim to have your videos in your hands within 10 weeks of your ceremony. Sometimes creative projects can take longer than expected and if longer than 4 months, you will receive a partial refund as an apology for our delay.

Yes, yes and YES. We absolutely love couples who take the road less traveled and opt for an adventurous or intimate elopement or "just right" sized micro-weddings with your closest family and friends. We love curating bespoke experiences you and your partner will never forget. You will still receive your ceremony filmed in full along with a stunning highlight film of your day. Elopement packages starting at just 2 hours of coverage. Please note that to be considered an elopement there must be under 20 guests in attendance.
